REGISTRATION FEE

The 2024 PLECET National Conference will be held at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis from May 2, 2024 to May 5, 2024. The conference registration fee is $399.00, covering all official activities. Please use the registration form to submit an application. Once received, your application will be processed and, if approved, you will receive additional information. Due to the conference being in less than ten days, refunds will not be offered.

arrivals

Attendees are strongly encouraged to arrive in Atlanta on Wednesday, May 1, 2024. We recommend arriving and checking-in to the conference hotel between 11:00am and 7:00pm (Eastern Time).

MEALS

Lunch will be provided daily at no cost to attendees. A complimentary dinner will be provided during the Professional Networking Symposium on Friday, May 3rd. During the Welcome Reception on Wednesday, May 1st, heavy Hors-d’Oeuvres will be served gratis. Also, complimentary refreshments will be offered between training sessions throughout the conference.

DRESS CODE

The dress code for all activities is business casual, except for the following events: the Professional Networking Symposium on Friday, May 3rd (casual attire), The Torch Awards on Saturday, May 4th (business attire), and the Community Service Projects on Saturday, May 4th (casual attire). Participants are advised to bring a light jacket to ensure comfort in case the temperature is cooler in the training rooms.

Transportation from Airport

Ground transportation via Peachtree Center MARTA Station rail lines.

1. Take the gold line train to Peachtree Center station (8 stops)
2. Exit via Peachtree Center
3. At street level, turn right/north on Peachtree Street and walk two blocks
4. Make right on John Portman Blvd and walk one block.
5. Make left and walk one half block.
6. Destination will be on the right

Rideshare Pickup Zone

Proceed through North baggage claim for the lower-level escalators located between doors N2 and N3 to the Rideshare Pick-up Zone. Once downstairs, follow the orange signs to the Economy lot and request a ride.

Driving from Airport

1. Take I-85 North.It will merge with I-85 North.
2. Take exit 248C for Freedom Pkwy toward GA-10 E/Andrew Young International Blvd/Carter Ctr
3. Keep left, follow signs for Andrew Young International Blvd/World Congress Ctr/Aquarium/Centennial Olympic Park
4. Keep left, follow signs for Andrew Young International Blvd
5. Take right on Peachtree Center Avenue NE 
6. Go north two blocks
7. Hotel is on the right

Driving Directions

From the North (I-85 or I-75)

1. Take I-75 and I-85 South (merged)
2. Continue onto Exit 2 (signs for I-24 W/I-59/Chattanooga/Birmingham)
3. Take exit 249A for Courtland St toward Georgia State University
4. Continue onto Courtland St NE
5. Turn right onto Andrew Young International Blvd NE
6. Turn right onto Peachtree Center Ave NE
7. Hotel is on the right

From the South (I-85 or I-75)

1. Both highways merge into the Connector. Stay on the connector.
2. Take exit 248C for Freedom Pkwy toward GA-10 E/Andrew Young International Blvd/Carter Ctr
